Elites that I never see anyone use
[skill]Soul Bind[/skill][skill]Weaken Knees[/skill][skill]Wail of Doom[/skill]
All look like decent elites to me. Weaken Knees maybe not so much, but I could see it synergizing nicely with a number of other classes' skills.
[skill]Charging Strike[/skill][skill]Auspicious Parry[/skill]
I see these skills used so seldom it baffles me.
Anyone have any explanation for the relative disuse of these skills?

That really depends on what you're running. [skill]wail of doom[/skill] is pretty much the ultamite attacker shutdown.

soul Bind and Weaken Knees are rather niche skills and not too strong overall.
Wail of Doom is decent enough for attacker shutdown, but... who runs necros anymore?

Are elite stances.
Never used because Frenzy iz gud.
... that's from a PvP perspective.
For PvE, Spiteful Spirit on a curse guy, and Dragon Slash or whatever elite attack you choose to run are far more powerful, versatile skills.

Charging strike is only good for runners, and there aren't that many running options these days. AP is okay for warriors on the occasional solo farming build, but you usually need something else as your elite.

Charging strike allows you to clear beach and run a full Fow Chest Run, It's a commonly used skill.
Alot of Warrior boss solos use Parry as well.

Those skills aren't used a lot because there are better options. People who pug are forced to use the cookie cutter builds, people who want to roll through areas fast bring the best elites, and then everyone else just chooses random elites and goes.

Auspicious Parry is kinda like Gladiator's Defense in that if no one is attacking you it does nothing at all. So in any form of PVP people will generally laugh at you and just switch tartgets, same as with Gladiator's. Solo farming, fine. It's good in fact to keep Riposte up almost all the time. When it was 1 second recharge, it served that purpose even better.
Wail of Doom really isn't bad, and it can put a hurting on warriors and rangers in PVP (one of these days out of spite I'm gonna even the score with some Magebane rangers with that). It just doesn't get used much because there are better options that aren't as narrow (if you face an all-caster team, your elite is almost totally wasted except for a casual interrupt every 15 seconds). In PVE, single target attack skill shutdown isn't that great unless you're facing a warrior or dervish boss that does insane damage.
Charging Strike shouldn't even be an elite. Compared to Enraging Charge, it's baloney. Soul Bind and Weaken Knees are too conditional to be good. There are non-elites out there that do the same thing and do it better. If Weaken Knees didn't end upon KD, and had a shorter duration + longer recharge, it would be more interesting, however...
